Advance Puppy Medium is a complete and balanced pet food, specifically formulated for meeting the nutritional needs of medium breed puppies (from 1 to 12 months, and between 10 and 30 kg at adult weight), as well as pregnant and lactating medium and large breed bitches.

The food is easy to digest and contributes to normal brain and vision development, and to the optimum growth of bones, thanks to omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Nucleotides are incorporated to help maintain the natural immune response.

The kibble is a smaller size to fit a medium puppy’s mouth.

At Advance, we prepare our recipes with high-quality ingredients to ensure good nutrition. 

Our Puppy Medium recipe is made with chicken as the first ingredient, which we incorporate unprocessed into the recipe, cooking the meat in its own juices. Chicken is an excellent source of protein and essential amino acids for the maintenance of tissues and good muscle condition.

From the first month of life, a puppy begins to reduce its consumption of its mother’s milk and starts eating food adapted to this life stage. From this age, the recommendation is as follows:

  • When the puppy reaches 2 months of age, it is recommended that it eats between 3 and 4 times a day, depending on its size (mini, medium or large).
  • At around 5 or 6 months, the frequency can be reduced to 2 meals a day.

The total amount of puppy food should always be adjusted according to the product’s feeding guide. If in doubt, the pet parent should consult their trusted veterinarian.

The daily amount depends on the puppy’s age, expected adult weight, size, activity level and the energy content of the food. We always recommend checking the feeding guide on the packaging of the relevant Puppy recipe and weighing the portion, as the amounts vary between Puppy Mini, Puppy Medium and Puppy Maxi.

Puppies need more energy and essential nutrients for growth and development than adult dogs, and puppy food is specifically formulated for this life stage.

Each puppy’s nutritional needs vary according to the size it will reach as an adult. That is why Advance Puppy provides the ingredients needed for the puppy to develop healthily, supporting its growth and stimulating the body’s immune response.

In addition, Advance Puppy contains kibble adapted to the size of the puppy’s jaw: Mini for dogs up to 10 kg, Medium for dogs weighing 10 to 30 kg and Maxi for dogs weighing more than 30 kg as adults.

You can give your puppy dry food, wet food or combine both through mixed feeding or mix feeding, provided that the food is complete, balanced and suitable for puppies. Follow the recommended amount in the feeding guide on the packaging and choose the option your puppy accepts best. If you combine dry and wet food, adjust the total portion to avoid overfeeding.

The answer depends on the pet’s expected adult size. According to the feeding recommendations provided on Advance products, Mini dogs switch to adult food after 10 months, Medium dogs from 12 months onwards and Maxi dogs after 15 months.
