Until your kitten reaches two months old, remember to rid them of parasites every two weeks.
WEANING
Your kitten can now do their business by themselves. Remember to prepare a sand litter tray and to make some scratching posts available to them.

It’s time for pre-vaccination parasite removal!
From now on you should remove parasites from your cat every 3 months.
• First vaccinations: Panleukopenia, Calicivirus and Rhinotracheitis. Optional vaccination: Leukaemia.
• Get your kitten used to having their nails clipped, cleaning their teeth and being handled.

• Your kitten can now produce spermatozoa but they are not yet able to mate.
• Have they played at being a hunter? If they have not done so up to present, it is quite unlikely that they will learn to do it.
THE FIRST
OESTRUS
From this month your kitten can
have their first oestrus.
It may appear between the first 3 and 12 months.
• It is time to remove parasites again, 3 months have gone by
• Remember that 6 months are equivalent to 12-15 years in human age
It is time to think about neutering and its benefits . The benefits will be different depending on whether your kitten is male or female.
